Delicious Turkish Gram (Mat Bean/Moth Bean/Matki/Dew Bean) Salad

The Recipe for Delicious Turkish Gram/Mat Bean Salad:

Quantity of sprouted matki/dew bean: 250 gm

  • In a wok/kadai, saute finely sliced pieces of 4 tomatoes in adequate quantity of warm rice bran oil or any other mild-flavour vegetable oil, smidgen the mix with salt – according to preference of flavour,
  • Add the sprouted matki/Turkish gram to the melted tomato blend; blend the mixture with a handful of finely sliced pieces of coriander leaves and few curry leaves, sliced pieces of a green chilli for mild-pungent flavour (these chillies are small and extremely slender, having fresh pungent flavour), small pieces of 3 cheese slices, 1/4 tsp. of turmeric powder and adequate quantity of water for Turkish gram to turn tender; cook the mixture until moth beans turn tender.
