The Recipe of Delicious Green Banana Curry/Gravy:
- In an adequate warm blend of butter and any, mild-flavour vegetable oil, sauté finely sliced pieces of 3 small onions and mashed pieces of around 8 garlic cloves,
- Blend the translucent onion mix with finely sliced pieces of 2 medium tomatoes, and finely sliced pieces of two green chillies for mild-pungent flavour – these chillies are small, extremely slender and have a fresh pungent flavour; add reasonable thin slices of 4 green bananas to the melted mix, add ½ tsp. of turmeric powder and ½ tsp. of shahi garam masala to the mixture (some of the ingredients of this spice mix are coriander, chilli, cumin, salt, fennel, lichen, cassia bark, star anise, black cardamon, bay leaf, caraway, triphala, black pepper, clove, etc.); and smidgen the mix with salt – according to preference of flavour,
- Combine the mix with 200ml of coconut milk, and add adequate quantity of water -according to the consistency of gravy you prefer; cook the mix until the green banana slices turn tender.
